The theater offers us, the audience, the possibility of viewing a fictitious plot enacted by fictitious characters. In two plays running during the current season at Habima, Israel's National Theater, the characters seize Heppiness. One play, Couples, adapted by Ilan Ronen from eight Israeli short stories, is also directed by him. The other, Quartet, a comedy by Ronald Harwood translated by Dori Parnes, is directed by Moshe Perlstein. During interviews with three members of the cast - Lea Keonig, Avraham Mor and Yuval Segal - they talked about their own moments of Happiness as actors on stage and as private individuals who are "actors" in the theater of life.
