During all the years of growing up in Israel, grand concepts such as justice, equality, friendship and even peace became integral parts of our lives. Yet, I believe, we still do not understand the meaning of most of these concepts. The worrisome situation affects us all. We appear to be losing our strength, will power, and patience; importantly, we seem to have stopped fighting for the most crucial of humanity's ideals. I am forced to conclude that any connection between justice and us, the citizens of this country, is purely accidental. Perhaps I am the only one who feels that way. Maybe my personal experiences have too much of an influence over my opinions and state of mind. But then again, maybe not....
