Throughout the 100-year history of the Arab-Israeli Confict, hawks on both sides, particularly among the conflict, have used economic, social and cultural boycotts as a weapon, in parallel to armed struggle and diplomacy. To what degree has this weapon been effective in promoting the strategic interests of the separate parties?
